Make Me Beautiful

Women can’t get enough of Kim Kardashian. Considering the public’s fascination with her makeup choices and tips, I’m surprised she’s not working to develop her own line of cosmetics. Anyways, Kim answered some beauty-related fan mail on her website today . This time, it’s all about eyes.

So, as usual, I am re-publishing on Spoiled Pretty - complete with links and spelling corrections. Enjoy, pretties!

Ruby asks:
Kim, do you wear eyelash extensions? I am so amazed by how long and perfect your eyelashes always appear… not to mention that both of your sisters and your mom have the same perfect look.

Kim answers:
No, I do not wear eyelash extensions, Ruby. But I just started using an eyelash grower called Revitalash . It’s amazing! It makes your eyelashes grow soooo much!

Kim [another Kim, not Kim K] asks:
Kim….You, your mom and your sisters eyelashes are ALWAYS beautiful. I wanted to know what brand of falsies you use or where do you guys get them done?

Kim answers:
We wear lashes from a company called Red Cherry , but Khloe never wears them. Kourtney, my mom and I only wear them out at night to events or parties. We have very long eye lashes to start with and the trick is to use two different kinds of mascara and really take your time putting it on!

Mla asks:
Hi Kim! Thanx for giving us your makeup regimen! We really appreciated this, but I wanted to know the color you use on your eyebrows. They always look so perfect! Do you use pencil or what!? Thanx again, and stay nice and cool!

Kim answers:
I use a MAC brown eyeshadow to fill them in a little bit. It’s called Walnut . It works really well for me. If I need to fill in some more, I use the MAC eyebrow pencil called Lingering .

I know he can be completely rude and horrible but I love his show Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares on the BBC. Plus, Gordon Ramsey is an amazing chef.

Kate Beckinsdale looks like she’s been styled and coiffed. When traveling, I’m usually in jeans, tee shirt, sneakers and a hat appearing as if I am incredibly jet lagged or drunk.

Catherine Zeta Jones is super skinny!The black leggings and espadrilles don’t make a fluent outfit. She needs a stylist, stat. Rachel Zoe?

Ashley Olsen or power lesbian? You decide.

Maggie Gyllenhall made a really big bad fashion faux pas here. MC Hammer pants are so over! Like back in 1989 they were a fashion DONT. Somewhere in the midwest in an office not unlike Dunder Mifflin, an overweight, permed hair sporting, polyester pants wearing assistant is missing her favorite shirt.

Hilary Duff gets two thumbs up for her cocktail dress, hair and makeup. Well played, Hil!

Did Ken Paves have the night off? Was he with Jessica again, playing Barbies and talking about John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston? Eva’s hair would have been better pulled back or swept up or even in a low ponytails. Does the dress say Couture or Hoochie?

Angelina Jolie will be on the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine for July 2008 issue. She opens up about her pregnancy, motherhood, and her always-expanding international family during the interview:

Angelina Jolie on being pregnant: “I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody (Brad Pitt) who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”

Angelina Jolie on Shiloh’s 2006 birth in Namibia: “We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing… I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.”

Angelina Jolie on her growing international family: “When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn’t have parents. It’s not a humanitarian thing, because I don’t see it as a sacrifice. It’s a gift. We’re all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh — because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little — and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’ I suppose I’m giving them the childhood I always wished I had.”
