Randomly surfing the net today, I came across this really awesome accessory photos (or whatever you call them..) magazine on the On Pedder website. It is called Pedderazine. For those of you who don’t know, On Peddar is a very well known group in Asia that specializes in designer accessories. A little like … the first floor of a department store minus the make-up. They also have more artsy window displays, which are always very cool.
Back to the photos. Titled, Super Natural, I love how the cover resembles National Geographic! At a glance, it looks like a feature on oil rigs or construction or something, but looking closer, you see that there is a gorgeous pair of huge Dries van Noten heels. It just casually sits there, as if it belonged to the scene with its muted tone and all, when it so obviously does not. I just love the juxtaposition.
Ditto for this one. It feels as if it is just another day on a familiar street, as if giant bags hanging from the sky, sitting on top of buildings is an everyday occurrence.
In the rest of the Pedderazine, they mixed accessories with the human body, with a skeletal feet in those Alaia sandals (left) and a Christian Louboutin handbag in the midst of what appears to be veins and arteries (right).
Then they had these Nicholav Kirkwood heels and Karen Walker shades just floating around in what I think is a culture of bacterias.
They also blended accessories into backgrounds. I love how the Dries van Noten heels and the Erickson Beamon shades just fits in so naturally with its environment.
I LOVE the visual effect here. Can you tell that it is made up of lots of white Marni envelop bags and Resin necklaces?
And I thought that this spiraling pair of Givenchy heels was genius!
And lastly the play of these Marni and Jimmy Choo shoes into insect shapes is simply awesome.
Is this Peddarazine cool or is it cool? If you’ve read this blog for long, you’ll know that I’m not usually the one to go on about cool photoshoots etc (thats HG!), because I don’t usually know how to appreciate them. But I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! Don’t forget to check out the rest of the collection on their site !

A couple of weeks back I started a 14 day skin care routine from Olay (click here for my Product Preview). And now, as promised, here are my thoughts on this product:
QUICK OVERVIEW
According to their website, Olay’s 14-day Skin Intervention system’s “peptide-B3 complex penetrates the skin’s surface for a reinvigorated lifted look. In just 14 days, it helps create the appearance of a skin turnaround, by hydrating to significantly firm and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. You will experience a stronger skin structure by the intensely hydrating system improving skin’s moisture barrier. Renew your lifted look throughout the year with an intensive intervention at least every three months.”
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
Every night for 14 nights, you wash your face with your favorite product (I’ve been using Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple) and then apply the entire contents of one of the 14 vials that contain pre-measured product. There are two rows of product, phase 1 and phase 2. You use phase 1 for the first 7 nights and then move on to phase 2 for the final week. When it comes to using this product, it really is fool-proof.
DID YOU SEE RESULTS?
Yes! Even after day 1 I noticed my skin felt tighter. The texture is more even, I don’t have blotchy dry patches…my skin just looks and feels better. Since I’m only 32, wrinkles are not an issue for me (yet!), but the firming I feel on my face is encouraging. It may sound weird, but my face does feel a bit “lifted.”
IS IT WORTH IT?
This product costs about $30, but I think it’s worth every penny and I will be adding this to my beauty routine. I’ll do it once a quarter and call it good. I think my face will thank me. I love that each night’s product is pre-measured–it really takes the guesswork out of applying the product. Every night, I looked forward to using the Skin Intervention because it made my face feel very hydrated…but not oily. I can wholeheartedly recommend this product. It worked for me; hopefully it will work for you as well!

The right shoes can make or break an outfit, but at the moment it seems the right shoes are bright shoes! Yellow, blue, orange, pink and green or any colour of the rainbow will do. Bold block colour works best, but also try clashing primary colours. It will lift an otherwise plain ensemble and make you stand out for all the right reasons. If you have open toes I think it is best to go for a nude nail polish or a different colour, don’t match shoes and nails. Wearing brights on your feet is a great way to wear a colour that wouldn’t usually suit you head to toe. Get inspired with my options below…

Forger - Nine West - $89
Punched Peep Toes Platform Shoe - ASOS - £25
Hesky - Faith - £45
Patent Wedge Shoe - TopShop - £45
Women’s Warrant - Carlos by Carlos Santana - $98.95

In English we call them Oxfords, in french Richelieu, and they are the shoes-of-the-moment for this spring. It seems quite right, after a winter with ankle boots all-over, that this spring we will be transitioning to the shorter version of shoes boots in Oxford style.

Louboutin
With high heels and open toes, zippers (like Louboutin’s ones), contrasting stitches(Bottega Veneta), two tones (Miu Miu), precious materials - patent or brocade - like in D&G’s shows or with laces for a more Victorian feel as Pedro Garcia did them, they look great with skirts and pants alike.

Bottega Veneta
Wear them with a jeans skirt for a contrasting look, or combine them with a pair of large, short pants (if you have the courage) for a very trendy, out of the ordinary outfit.

D&G

Pedro Garcia
Not sure at the beginning of how i feel about those shoes, i opted for a moderate price pair, from Zara, elegant gray patent ones, with very high heels, side zipper and peep toes, similar to Louboutin’s ones pictured above.

As you can guess from a previous post, last weekend i was in Lisbon, for a short weekend break. While there, i attended a fashion show, organized in a trendy bar near the sea side (IN RIO Cafe). I…
