I am running another reader giveaway right now and this one is for the Max Factor Vivid Impact EyeShadow Duo!

I have one set of ten to give away to one of you, my lovely dollface readers. Email me at distressedbluejeans@gmail.com with the subject line MAX FACTOR. Please include your name and address, I will randomly choose a winner on Friday. New MAX Factor Vivid Impact Eye Shadow is a double-ended loose powder eye shadow that delivers high impact colors with the first application. The loose powder eye shadow comes in bold color combinations that provide divas with everything they desire in an eye shadow: dramatic hues and soft and precise application.

P&G Beauty’s Global Creative Design Director, Pat McGrath, was inspired by the vivid color of designer clothes and accessories on the runways and created Vivid Impact Eye Shadow shade combinations to reflect the trend.

Daily Dollfaces »

Ivanka Trump is a pretty girl with a totally cool first name. Ivanka- you don’t meet many girls with that name. That color blue is stunning and flattering on her however the fit in the bust area makes her appear like she’s a nursing mother of five. Kind of poofy and saggy.

I would take that dress and wear it any day of the week. And Lisa Rinna has a terrific body, she’s in super shape. Excellent job on the outfit and body, Lisa!

These two are cute together, I like Jake with Reese much better than when he was with Kirsten Dunst.

Who dresses Paris? Now it looks like she’s posing on a Hefty bag wearing an outfit inspired by Michael Jackson’s Thriller video.

I dig Nicole Richie’s style but when I copy something like her headwrap, I look like I’m suffering a head wound.

Paula Abdul wears an unfurling role of toilet paper as a scarf. How innovative!

Oh goodness, Nicky Hilton is treading in Allegra Versace territory. She looks unhealthy and needs a loaf of Challah bread and some protein shakes.

Remind me never to stand next to Christy Turlington. In comparison, I’d feel like Shrek.

And remind me to take this photo to a plastic surgeon’s office so I can have everything redone to look like Charlize Theron.

I cannot wait to see the new Cameron Diaz/Ashton Kutcher movie, What Happens In Vegas. It looks like its going to be very funny.

I applaud Anne Hathaway’s resistance to tan. Everyone around me loves to bake in the sun but I slather on my spf 50.
and in case you missed it, here’s Katherine McPhee on American Idol last night. She sings beautifully. Too bad she’s so ugly. Just kidding! She’s gorgeous, sings well and is starting an acting career.

What is up with Victoria’s Secret? »

Stemming from my previous rant I guess, it is funny to see these bags at Victoria’s Secret . (I was going to use the description “horrible” for the bags, but I stopped myself because of the language - I wasn’t sure if I was saying it was horrible just because it’s a knock off or due to how it looks.)

I wonder if VS makes these bags with then intentions of actually being worn as purses, or just as a consolation for purchasing their overpriced items. They MUST have known fully that they are copying Stephen Sprouse for Louis Vuitton (in case you guys didn’t connect why they are knock offs).

This is the thing with knock offs (as if I already didn’t cover enough, but I didn’t touch on this) - can’t businesses afford to hire designers who can make organic designs out of their own heads?? They have to know they are copying and have allotted money available to pay restitution’s in case they are sued. But since so many people are allowed to get away with it, it trickles down into everything everywhere.

After all the millions that are profited from copying someones designs, can’t they hire someone to just work for them? (Hello, just hire Marc Jacobs! you have the money!). But it’s because they have so much money that companies like that allot money to be able to sue if they had to. Someone in my comments left a note about how they want to pass a law to not copy designs until after a few years. Which totally makes sense to me. Shouldn’t it make sense to them? But then we wouldn’t have the latest trends at our fingertips! It really is a lose lose. Just as long as none of you are wearing those Victoria’s Secret bags as real purses instead of something to put your make up in, then we should all be fine I hope.

Nicky Hilton’s Nicholai @ L.A. Fashion Week 2008 »

Just like Lauren Conrad, Nicky Hilton’s line is also completely different from her Spring collection. She changed the name of the line to “Nicholai” and showed her designs in different fabrics and concepts:

  • riding crops, hats, and boots
  • wool vest paired with leather jodhpurs
  • a cheezy-looking black patent-leather cropped jacket paired with white “mod shorts”
  • micro shorts with black accents
  • plain leather trench coats in red and black
  • flouncy red leather micro minis
  • black leather pants, as well as more patent leather

Among her creations, her mod knit dresses, with a form-fitting black-white-and-red mini dress, with nice stripe contrasts and red trim, and a color-blocked black-and-white mini sheath drew applause from the audience.

Yummy411: TUBEYourLash Mascara Review »

Mascara fiends, this is for you! TUBEYourLash Mascara is a new mascara that follows the trend of tubing the lash, hence its name.

Cheat sheet review:

Product: 5 out of 5- It lives up to its claims!
Packaging: 4 out of 5- Your standard sleek, black packaging. Nothing cheesy like Rimmel mascaras can be.
Product made for me: 1 out of 5- I like volumizing formulas.

They say the mascara “tubes your lash, is long lasting, won’t move until you are ready to take it off, better than waterproof, easy to remove. ” Yes, the mascara is all of that as this got a trial run while my allergies attacked reminding me that Spring is near. For that, the product gets a 5 out of 5.

While it didn’t satisfy the thick lash girl in me, it did define my lashes a little too well. I haven’t been giving my lashes any TLC lately, so they are getting rather wimpy and scraggly (is that a word? lol). The formula of this mascara enhanced that by defining them and tubing the wimp lashes of mine. I wonder how this would work in conjunction with a voluminzing mascara? Would it take away from the formula? I would love this more if the formula wrapped thick tubes around my lashes.

This is for you if:

-you have naturally thick lashes,
-have watery eyes,
-love the natural lash look,
-or want something that will give ultra definition to your lashes

Not for you if:

-have thin to no lashes to begin with
-you love thick, voluminous lashes,
-want volume
-want volume
-or want volume
