The show started off with minimal, well-cut and structured evening dresses. Take note of the shoes: pointy shoes are back! Is the trend with round-toed shoes soon to be over?
These are the more work-suit looks. I hope those tulip skirts become part of the mainstream trends, (and hopefully high street retailers will be ‘inspired’ to make affordable versions!)
Metallic, shiny dresses are nothing new. But the shapes of these dresses are amazing.
The velvet top with skinny pants/ skirt combo seemed to be a huge favourite. I love how pretty the colourful tops are. And the black & white velvet top look is just amazing with the black eye makeup! Seriously loves it!
The show closed with printed coats and dresses. While I can appreciate how these artistic pieces form part of the collection, I have to say I’m not a huge fan of the coats. For example, the coat on the left makes the model look like she’s got a muscular costume on.Popularity: 1% [?]

Only in U.S. there are thousands of organizations involved in drug addiction rehab. It makes the decision to check in a…

What will Bruce Forsyth enjoy in the next decade, now he has turned 80? It’s certainly great what you can get away with
It was Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother who first alerted me to the possibility that I might be on the threshold of my best decade yet. I had been her Lady-in-Waiting for 35 […]

Drug rehabilitation occurs in a multitude of forms. It may be provided in outpatient or inpatient settings, be publicly or privately funded, and may or may not involve the administration of medication. The differences among the philosophies of, and the services provided in, various drug abuse treatment programs may be enormous. What is remarkable is that some form of drug abuse counseling or psychotherapy is almost invariably a part of every type of comprehensive drug abuse…

Have you ever known anyone that you felt drank just a little too much and a little too often? Maybe that person is a good friend of yours, maybe it’s your father or maybe it’s you. Whatever the case, alcoholism doesn’t just affect the person doing the drinking, it affects all involved. Alcoholism is a silent killer; it’s not well known like many other diseases and it’s often left untreated until its victim dies from cirrhosis of the liver. There are millions of people across the world that…

There has been a chain reaction in the fashion world, a move toward safe dressing, and it has finally reached Dior, a house that under the showmanship of John Galliano usually sparks change.
But Monday’s Dior show represented a kind of defeat of his way of doing things. The clothes were respectable, ladylike, seemingly culled from […]
